Plot

Field Trip

Percy Jackson is a twelve-year-onetime boy diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, and he has been expelled from every school he has e'er attended. While he is in sixth course on a field trip,[one] a classmate of his, Nancy Bobofit, bullies his best friend Grover Underwood. He is taken to the Hermes Cabin, where he will exist staying, and is introduced to the caput counselor, Luke Castellan.

  • In this book, Percy refers to other gods, or other gods refer to him by family names. Hades was repeatedly chosen uncle, Poseidon refers to Zeus as Percy's uncle, and Ares calls Percy his cousin. This, notwithstanding, is not continued in the remainder of the books, as Poseidon is the only god Percy refers to with a family unit proper noun (calling him his begetter or dad).
  • I Osculation Something Ugly is one of the deleted chapters in The Lightning Thief. It was later presented on Rick Riordan'southward Facebook.
